OURSCREEN

OURSCREEN

Scott Cinemas have teamed up with ourscreen to bring a new initiative to our cinemas.

ourscreen is a brand new initiative, the first of its kind. We're a UK based digital-social platform aiming to support the great work being done in cinemas across the country. ourscreen empowers film fans and local communities to create and attend screenings at their local cinema. ourscreen is where film fans can control their local cinema. In three easy steps we are all able to create film screenings for our friends or anybody who wants to come.

There are already over 300 films on the platform, ranging from recent hits like Nightcrawler, foreign language films including Jules et Jim to classics such as Raging Bull. We are a UK based team of film fans and we want to help you watch more films in the cinema. You can now do that by attending screenings others have created, or by creating and sharing your own screenings.

So if you missed the latest blockbuster, only love the classics, need to organise a party or have just made your first feature, this is the place for you. Pick your film. Choose your cinema. Select your date and time. Invite your friends. If enough people book tickets, your screening happens...

Let's have a look at how you can arrange a screening through ourscreen...

CHOOSE YOUR FILM

Visit the Ourscreen website, and search through over 300 film titles already on the platform to choose the film you want to see. If you want to see something that you don't see listed, just ask us. Get in touch with ourscreen on Facebook or Twitter, or Contact Us to try to arrange a screening in your area.

CHOOSE A TIME

Cinemas have a number of timeslots available - on Sundays & Tuesdays - and you can see the times of these slots when you start to arrange your screening. Don't forget to pick a time that your friends are going to be available!

SHARE YOUR EVENT

Invite your friends and family to your screening. In order for your screening to go ahead, we have to cover the costs, and that means we have to set a minimum number of tickets required for the screening to go ahead. Once you've set up a screening, anyone visiting the ourscreen site can buy tickets. If we don't sell enough tickets, we can't show the film. Don't forget to tag Scott Cnemas on social media for any event that you set up and we'll do our best to share and promote it.

That's all there is to it! Visit the ourscreen website and take a look at the films available and start setting up those events! Remember, choose wisely, get your friends involved and publicise your screening - if we don't sell enough tickets, the screening can't go ahead.
