Royal Ballet & Opera is back in cinemas for the 2024-2025 cinema season, broadcasting eleven productions on to the Big Screen!

The season features 11 world-class productions, including popular classics alongside highly anticipated new productions. With an international roster of opera and ballet stars, the RBO Cinema Season 2024-25 promises to be a fantastic experience for fans of opera and ballet alike.

'Wolf Witch Giant Fairy' and 'The Nutcracker' are productions captured live during 2024, while the remaining 9 titles are all broadcast live from the world-famous Royal Opera House in the heart of London.

Free Tickets (such as Guest Passes, Admit One vouchers, and Meerkat Movies) cannot be used on RB&O presentations. 

CERTIFICATION

Event Cinema presentations are classed as 12A by default, except where noted otherwise. This reflects the fact that the BBFC has not examined content, and therefore we are advised that it cannot be determined whether the material contained within the presentation is suitable for children. The applied 12A certificate means that persons under the age of 12 can only be admitted when accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

In some situations, Event Cinema presentations may have a classification pre-determined by either the venue of origination, or the distributor. These certificates reflect the original ratings applied to the content of any show, for example by the exhibiting theatre. These certificates are clearly displayed next to the presentation title.

Encore performances are always rated by the BBFC. Please note that for 15 & 18 certificate presentations, nobody under that age can be admitted,

In a conscious effort to reduce paper waste, we're now able to provide Cast Sheets for online download - you can save it to your mobile device or download to your computer to print off yourself. You can also scan the QR code on display in every cinema to download the Cast Sheet to your mobile device. Please note that Cast Sheets may not be provided until a few days before the publication - we upload them as soon as the studio sends them over.
